YRFN works in partnership with regional food banks, anti-poverty organizations,
community groups, government, and corporate partners to provide and support
community programs that provide food and related assistance. YRFN also surveys
food bank clients and maintaining statistics for the region in order to provide
public awareness and establish alternative programs.
The Food Network is involved in several community initiatives that are aimed
at increasing access to affordable, delicious food for all people in York
Region.
